Come and Visit the Felician Sisters Heritage Center

Designed for visitors of all ages and backgrounds, the Heritage Center preserves and shares the rich history, spirituality, and mission of the Felician Sisters of North America. Through historical photographs, artifacts, exhibits, and archival resources, we hope to educate, inspire, and expand the hearts and minds of all who visit.


 Current Visit Status:  At this time, the Heritage Center is open by appointment only.

Final preparations are being made to ensure every visitor has a safe, meaningful, and fully accessible experience. We look forward to welcoming guests when every detail is ready to be experienced as intended. We appreciate your patience during this exciting final stage and encourage you to reach out to express interest in a future visit.

Availability: Dependent on staff schedules and space readiness

Group Tours: Limited group tours may be accommodated with advance notice
Once all work is completed and the Heritage Center receives final approval, regular public hours will be announced.

Group Visits: By appointment only. Advance scheduling is required for all group visits.

  • School groups (K–12)

  • Youth and adult groups

  • Groups of 10 or more for self-guided visits

  • Docent-led tours available for groups of 10 - 40 people


Visiting Tips
To help ensure a positive experience for all visitors, please keep the following in mind:

  • Non-flash photography for personal use is encouraged

  • Photos may not be sold, published, or used to promote any outside product or service

  • Use hand-held cameras, cell phones and tablets only

  • Flash, tripods, lights, selfie sticks and other camera accessories are not permitted

  • Please remain behind stanchions and maintain a safe, non-touching distance from all displays

  • Be respectful of other visitors enjoying the galleries

Visitor Code of Conduct
To ensure that the Heritage Center & Archives remains welcoming, safe and accessible, all visitors are expected to follow these guidelines:

  • Do not use flash photography

  • Do not touch, climb on, sit on, or attempt to access displays behind stanchions

  • Avoid disruptive or harmful behavior toward staff, volunteers or other visitors, including verbal abuse, harassment, discrimination or threatening statements

  • Comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations

  • Follow instructions from Heritage Center staff and security personnel at all times

  • Loitering or assembling in the space without engaging in its intended use is prohibited

  • Solicitation is not permitted unless authorized

  • The Heritage Center & Archives reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission for conduct that violates these guidelines.

Service Animals
Service animals are welcome in the Heritage Center in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Therapy animals, emotional support animals, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted.

Meeting & Gathering Spaces
Meeting and gathering space within the Heritage Center may be available on a limited basis, depending on timing, group size and operational readiness. Use of the space must be coordinated in advance.

Please note that meeting space availability may be restricted during this initial opening phase.

Our Theater is a 4D Immersive Experience

Your in-person visit to the Heritage Center will begin with the story of the Felician Sisters' arrival in North America. Theatergoers will experience sensory effects meant to immerse viewers in the journey. You will feel the mist as you cross the Atlantic Ocean, and the rocking of the railcar and horse-drawn cart as you travel along with the sisters.

The film is approximately 15 minutes. The theater seats 11 with space for a wheelchair.
