St. Felix Centre Early Years

Having relocated their convent, the Canadian Felicians began assisting and supporting the evolving needs of the community that surrounded their former convent at 25 Augusta Avenue in Toronto. St. Felix Centre was founded there in 1993. These photos show the transitional period after the space was a day nursery and before it became committed to supporting people experiencing homelessness, extreme poverty, and complex challenges.

In 2004, St. Felix Centre offered a summer camp for youth from the surrounding area.
In the early 2000s, the St. Felix Centre boys' club met and played hockey. The ministry eventually focused on the growing needs of the homeless and poor in the area.
