Sister Barbara Ann Bosch

Sister Barbara Ann Bosch was elected provincial minister of Mother of Good Counsel Province from 1993 to 2005, after first serving as a council member for six years as director of ministry.

Astute, fun-loving, and blessed with an aptitude for learning, Sister Barbara Ann had earned a Master of Arts in Theology and a Master of Education in Administration and ministered for more than 25 years as a certified teacher and principal in Felician-staffed schools.

Sister Barbara Ann served on numerous congregational and provincial commissions, committees, and task forces, contributing to the life of the Felician Congregation. Her work with the North American Steering Committee from 1996 to 2009 resulted in the reconfiguration of the original eight North American provinces into one Our Lady of Hope Province.

In 2006, Sister Barbara Ann was elected minister general for the Felician Congregation of nearly 1,800 sisters on five continents. With compassion and an understanding of its varied ministries worldwide, she diligently promoted the Felician Sisters mission, “the spiritual renewal of the world.” Her deepest desire, that their hearts aflame with the Felician charism, the sisters would always be credible witnesses to the love God has for all people.

From 2013 to 2021, Sister Barbara Ann served as CEO of Felician Sisters, Inc. (FSI), an organization whose function is to oversee the sponsored ministries of the Felician Sisters of North America. Upon conclusion of her time with FSI, Sister Barbara Ann shifted her ministerial focus to St. Turibius Parish in Chicago.
