The Felician Sisters leased, managed, and operated the small rural hospital in Okarche, OK. Hospital administrator Sister Mary Hyacinth Kozicki oversaw an expansion that provided education and training programs, as well as surgical units. In 1953, the ministry was allocated to the new Felician province in Oklahoma, but was reallocated to Coraopolis in 1962. Felician Sisters ended their ministry at Okarche Memorial in 1986.
Management of the hospital was allocated to the new Felician province in Oklahoma in 1953, but returned again in 1962 due to a shortage of sisters in healthcare ministry there.
