These photos are of Maria Nursery School, which was founded to assist working mothers. Beginning in Detroit in 1967, the school relocated to Livonia in 1977. Headed by Sister Mary Claudine Forys and assisted by Sister Mary Florian Kudla, the school prepared children for kindergarten and also offered summer day camp. As the need for the school diminished, Maria Nursery School closed in 1981.
