These photos are of Immaculate Conception High School, which was founded in 1915 to educate aspirants – young women aspiring to be religious sisters. The school began enrolling lay students in 1923. By 1960, a new building was erected for the thriving high school. Declining enrollment led to the closure of Immaculate Conception High School on June 23, 2023, marking 108 years of educating young women in the Felician Franciscan tradition.
 
The Most Rev. Thomas A. Boland, Archbishop of Newark, presided over the blessing of Immaculate Conception High School on September 8, 1957.
