Sister Mary Colette Michniewicz designed and painted a depiction of Mother Mary Angela Truskowska in oil on canvas measuring 8.5 feet wide by 12.8 feet tall, which hung in front of St. Peter’s Basilica for the beatification of the Foundress in 1993. The canvas was so large that Sister Colette created her artwork in Rome.
