Gino Testaguzza, a retired Italian sculptor, was commissioned in 1979 to sculpt the likenesses of the founding North American Felician Sisters. Artist Sister Mary Stanisia Hindelwicz provided sketches. The finished piece was formed in fiberglass and measures 33.5" wide x 28" tall. It initially sat atop a memorial marking the origin of the Felician foundation in Polonia, WI. It is currently on display in the Heritage Center in Livonia, MI.
